At least eight children in the Banja Luka and Laktaši area have been injured while performing the “Superman challenge” on TikTok, Nezavisne novine has unofficially learned.
As a reminder, a fifth-grade student at the “Sveti Sava” Elementary School in the Banja Luka neighborhood of Lauš broke both arms.
Miroslav Popržen, the director of the “Sveti Sava” Elementary School and the president of the Association of Directors of Elementary Schools in the Banja Luka region, told Nezavisne novine that this unfortunate event was the result of a TikTok challenge that children were performing at school.
“The children were playing an inappropriate game, during which the girl fell and broke her arms. The children saw this challenge and they did it without thinking about the consequences,” Popržen told Nezavisne novine.

He adds that unfortunately, all schools are dealing with such challenges.
“This challenge came from the region. So who knows how long they’ve been playing this game without anyone being injured, so we didn’t know,” Popržen told Nezavisne novine.
As he said, what is important is that parents of elementary school children closely monitor the content that their children watch on social networks.
The “Superman challenge” is a terrifying challenge that circulates among children on TikTok, where two children throw a third child into the air and record the entire situation, which ends with injuries that can be very dangerous.
