“The killer was a homeless person here. Dejan helped him, fed him. Dejan was such a man, the best we all knew. He cared about everyone. People owed him over a million dinars. Whenever he saw someone, Dejan would say, ‘Give him something to drink!’ That’s how he was, a man who helped everyone in every way,” Brajana Lazarević, a former employee of the “Krug” café where Saša Milosavljević (47) killed the café owner Dejan Mihajlović (56) last night and injured another person, tells Blic.
Blic reporters found the interviewee not far from the crime scene in Jagodina. She said that the murdered café owner was such a man that no one could say a bad word about him.
The murdered Dejan in Jagodina helped everyone
“I worked for Dejan for about 7-8 months, 2-3 years ago. I know the man, he is a very good friend, he was available to everyone. When my father died, he helped me out. When I worked for him, he helped me out too. I can only say good things about him,” this woman says in shock.
According to her, she knew the killer Saša Milosavljević from childhood, their families knew each other.

The killer from Jagodina drank all day
“When I heard what happened, we immediately went to the crime scene. We met a man who immediately told us that Babac (Saša Milosavljević, ed. note) was involved. I was shocked because I know him. I heard that he had been drinking at the market all day yesterday. His brother was roasting a pig, so they were drinking, and then Saša went to ‘Krug’. I don’t know what happened to him to do something like that,” she says.
As a reminder, in the Strelište neighborhood in Jagodina last night, on Christmas Eve, a horrific shooting occurred in the “Krug” café where the café owner Dejan Mihajlović (56) was killed, while another person was injured. After the crime, the attacker fled, and during his arrest, members of the SAJ special forces liquidated him when the perpetrator, Saša Milosavljević (47), tried to shoot at the police.
Minister Ivica Dačić announced that Saša Milosavljević (47) was liquidated by the police in the Jagodina Industrial Zone.
