Novak Djokovic, the best tennis player ever, had the honour of throwing the first “pitch” just before the big baseball derby between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.

The rivalry between the Yankees and the Red Sox is one of the greatest in all American sports, and it is clear why Djokovic decided to be at “Yankee Stadium” during his free time.

Novak had the honour of throwing the first pitch, and a really small number of people can boast of that.

Novak shared the pictures on social networks, in collaboration with the Yankees, and the description added:

When does Novak play the first match at the US Open?

Djokovic will play against the American Learner Tien on Sunday from 01:00 after midnight, which is not an ideal time for Serbia.

However, for Novak, it probably is, as it will be 7 p.m. in New York at that time.

The Serbian tennis player entered the draw as the seventh seed, which significantly complicated his situation before the draw, and thus brought him a more difficult path.
