Students who have been walking for nine days from Novi Pazar to Novi Sad arrived at Divčibare, where a welcome was organized for them. They will continue their journey tomorrow toward Valjevo, where they will join the protest.
For Saturday evening, a welcome for the students walking from Novi Pazar has been announced in front of the Valjevo Gymnasium at 8 p.m.
Speaking about the van driver whose house is being searched by the police, student Emina Spahić stated that she is certain it happened because he was accompanying them. “The only thing that affects us is precisely what concerns the driver; what happened yesterday didn’t affect us, and I think it’s clear that fear has shifted to the other side,” she said.
We remind you, the previous evening, the police stopped the students about eight kilometers from Kosjerić to search the van that was following them and carrying their belongings.
