In a major operation by the police, the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP), and the Intervention Unit in Belgrade, nine football fans were arrested on Friday, suspected of being members of the “Anti Romi” fan group.
By order of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, they were placed in police custody for up to 48 hours.
As “Telegraf” unofficially learns, they did not participate in the murder at the establishment in Višnjička Banja and the wounding of four other people.
“The nine fans were detained for minor offenses, but also for possible knowledge about the clash at the well-known establishment on Slanački Put,” a source for the portal says, adding that Mihailo T. (21) was also handcuffed.
It is further stated that a search is underway for four fans who participated in the shooting in Višnjička Banja that shook the capital.
Raid on 50 Locations
A large-scale operation was carried out across Belgrade on Friday by members of the Criminal Police Directorate and the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, targeting fans close to Veljko Belivuk’s “Principi” and Lazar Marinković Lucifer’s “Anti Romi” group, resulting in searches at more than 50 locations, Telegraf.rs reported.
We remind readers that Lazar Marinković Lucifer was arrested on suspicion of participating in the shootout in a cafe in Višnjička Banja.
“Kurir” wrote that Nemanja N. and Darko L., participants in the shooting in Višnjička Banja in which a woman was killed and several people were wounded, were arrested and detained for up to 30 days.
Incidentally, the two Partizan fans, according to unofficial information, refused to tell the police what happened and who shot at them after being transferred to the hospital. According to unofficial information, Nemanja N. and Darko L. were in the group of fans that clashed with Lucifer, who is allegedly close to Veljko Belivuk.
It is suspected that Marinković’s brother, who is currently being sought, did the shooting.
The arrested fans, as we learn, are suspected of aiding and abetting a serious murder. Lazar Marinković Lucifer was on his regular walk at the time of the conflict as he was under house arrest.
