Sam Presti, general manager and head of the Oklahoma City Thunder, revealed that Nikola Topić is fighting a serious illness — testicular cancer.
The shocking information was recently shared with reporters in Oklahoma, who immediately posted it on social media.
It must be said that Presti emphasized that doctors are “extremely positive” regarding Topić’s recovery, noting that the young player had even trained with the team up until the start of chemotherapy.

It was previously known that Topić underwent medical examinations in early October and subsequently had testicular surgery, after which it was announced that he would be sidelined for 4–6 weeks.
Now Presti has confirmed that this was part of his recovery process and that the young Serbian player did not want to share details of his illness until treatment began.
There is no exact date for Topić’s return to the court, but at this moment, that truly isn’t what matters most.
