Bogdan Bogdanović, the captain of Serbia, just can’t seem to escape bad luck. Just when it seemed he would have enough time to prepare for the new season, an injury struck.
Because of an injury, he had to leave EuroBasket after only five quarters played (not full games, as it happened during the second match), and now his return to the Los Angeles Clippers is potentially traumatic as well.
Although the club’s management has stood by him and offered full support, things are not looking good.

The Serbian captain returned to the court and played only two minutes in the Los Angeles Clippers’ victory over Guangzhou (142:95) before suffering the injury. He recorded one assist, but few will care about that now.
The biggest concern now is how he feels and when he will be able to return to the court.
He went to the locker room accompanied by the coach and Lawrence Frank, holding his back or the left side of his torso. It remains to be seen what exactly happened — there are still no detailed updates, as the incident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. Serbian time.
