The Government of Serbia voted at today’s session to appoint Dragan Šutanovac, president of the Council for Strategic Policies and former Minister of Defense, as the new ambassador of Serbia to Washington, N1 confirmed.
The appointment of Dragan Šutanovac as the ambassador of Serbia to Washington was approved at today’s government session.

Serbia should now send a request for agrément to the United States. Only after the agrément is approved in Washington, which is a procedure that takes between 40 and 60 days, Šutanovac will be able to take up the position of ambassador.
