According to a police statement, a traffic patrol stopped an “Opel” vehicle during the evening, driven by the suspect. During the vehicle inspection, a total of 74 kilograms of plant material suspected to be marijuana was found.
It is suspected that the seized drugs were intended for further sale, and the quantity found will be sent for expert examination to determine its exact composition.
By order of the duty prosecutor of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Vranje, the suspect has been detained for up to 48 hours.
After the expiration of that period, he will be brought before the competent prosecutor’s office along with a criminal complaint.
