An outstanding performance from Serbian playmaker Vasilije Micić was not enough for the Charlotte Hornets to avoid a home defeat.

The Brooklyn Nets secured a dominant 104-83 victory.

Micić was given significant playing time in this game and immediately proved that he belongs on the court, not the bench, showing that he definitely has the quality for the NBA.

In 28 minutes of action, he recorded 15 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. The experienced Serbian guard shot exceptionally well from three-point range, hitting four of six attempts (5/10 FG, 4/6 3PT).

Unfortunately, his strong performance did not help the Hornets avoid a heavy defeat.

Brooklyn controlled the game from start to finish and deservedly came away with the victory.
