The military parade named “Strength of Unity” is announced for today from 11 a.m. in front of the Palace of Serbia in Novi Beograd to mark the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag. As the Ministry of Defense announced earlier, about 10,000 participants are engaged in the parade, and about 2,500 pieces of weaponry and military equipment, more than 600 vehicles, 70 aircraft and 20 vessels will be displayed.

In the echelon of aviation units, all types of aircraft will participate, such as MiG-29, “Orao”, C-295 CASA, Mi-35M and H-145.

Among the numerous pieces of weaponry and military equipment, the “FK-3” and HQ-17 anti-aircraft missile systems, modern GM400 radars, “Miloš”, “MRAP”, “Lazar 3”, “Hummer” and BOV OT armored combat vehicles will also be displayed.

Visitors will be able to see modernized M-84 AS1/2/3 tanks, modernized M80 AB1/2 infantry armored combat vehicles, 155 mm NORA self-propelled howitzers, as well as modernized PASARS anti-aircraft systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, reconnaissance and combat drones.

For the first time, a long-range multiple rocket launcher PULS, acquired from Israel, unmanned aerial vehicles from that country, kamikaze drones and Russian systems for electronic warfare and drone jamming Krasuha and Repelent will be displayed.

The audience will see the parade of the echelons of units of all branches and services in the Serbian Army, cadets of the Military Academy, units on vehicles and vessels of the River Flotilla.

The parade program also includes a display of the capabilities of the “Kobre” special purpose military police detachment, a drill by members of the Guard, as well as a parachute jump by members of the 63rd Parachute Brigade.

Visitors will be able to enter the parade area from 8:30 a.m., and entry will be possible at two locations, near the roundabout near the “Ušće” Shopping Center towards Branko’s Bridge and at the intersection of Trešnjinog cveta street and Bulevar Nikole Tesle, from the direction of Novi Beograd and the direction of Zemun.

List of streets that will be closed

Traffic in most of Novi Beograd as well as in certain streets in the city center will be suspended tomorrow due to the “Strength of Unity 2025” military parade, the city’s Secretariat for Traffic announced.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. traffic will be suspended in

Terazijski tunnel,
Zeleni venac street,
Brankova,
Sajmište street,
on Branko’s Bridge and at all intersections of access roads.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the pedestrian paths on Branko’s Bridge will be temporarily occupied, the announcement states.

Traffic will be suspended tomorrow also in the following streets:

Karađorđev trg street,
in Bulevar Nikole Tesle, from Trešnjinog cveta street to Džona Kenedija street,
in Bulevar maršala Tolbuhina, from Bulevar Nikole Tesle to Otona Župančića street,
in Džona Kenedija street, from Bulevar Nikole Tesle to Bulevar Mihajla Pupina,
in Bulevar Mihajla Pupina, from Džona Kenedija street to Ušće street,
in Ušće street, from Bulevar Mihajla Pupina to Bulevar Nikole Tesle.

The following will also be closed:
Aleksinačkih rudara street, from Bulevar Nikole Tesle to Bulevar Mihajla Pupina,
Omladinskih brigada street, from Bulevar Mihajla Pupina to Bulevar Zorana Đinđića (left lane in the direction of Bulevar Zorana Đinđića),
Bulevar umetnosti, from Bulevar Mihajla Pupina to Bulevar Zorana Đinđića,
Trešnjinog cveta street, from Bulevar Nikole Tesle to Bulevar Mihajla Pupina.
