Despite Charlotte’s loss, the NBA is abuzz about Vasilije Micić’s spectacular move. First, he faked out his defender, making him “fly away,” then, mid-fall and without looking, delivered a behind-the-back pass to a teammate, which led to an extra pass and a three-pointer:

In a game that was not particularly enjoyable to watch, the Wizards built a 20-point lead, but the Hornets managed to fight their way back. Vasa was one of the key players in this comeback, sinking two consecutive three-pointers in the fourth quarter. Following him, Tiđane Salon hit a three-pointer, tying the score at 96–96.
What followed was a back-and-forth battle that lasted until the very end, when Jordan Poole nailed a three-pointer to secure the victory for the Wizards.
