Serbia’s national team para alpine skier Luka Bilčar achieved a historic success at the FIS International Alpine Skiing Races and the Visegrad Cup, held at the Kubinska hoľa ski center.
In the super-giant slalom (Super G) discipline, Bilčar won one race, while in the second Super G race he finished in 3rd place, becoming the first athlete from Serbia to record a victory in the Super G discipline within FIS para alpine skiing.
The result was achieved in the standing skiers category, with competitors from 12 countries taking part, and both races were scored for the FIS International Alpine Skiing Races and the Visegrad Cup.

“This victory means a lot to me and is a great motivation to continue the season. It shows that we are on the right path and that all the work is paying off,” Luka Bilčar said after this major success.
The achieved placements represent an important step in the continuation of the season and are part of the preparations for the Winter Paralympic Games in Cortina.
