The killers of 14-year-old girl Vanja Đ. from Skopje, who disappeared on November 27 last year on her way to school and was sought by the entire region, were sentenced to life imprisonment today.
The girl’s body was found in early December near the village of Orman, on the outskirts of North Macedonia’s capital.
Telma Television reported that a life imprisonment verdict was passed for Ljupčo Palevski, Velibor Manev, Bore Videvski, and Vlatko Keshishev for the murders of 14-year-old Vanja Đorčevska from Skopje and 74-year-old Pance Žezovski from Veles.
This is the verdict issued by the Basic Criminal Court in Skopje for the four defendants in one of the most monstrous cases in recent Macedonian history.
Aleksandar Đorčevski, Vanja’s father, was acquitted of the charges.
