The New Year is approaching, a time of giving, and a period when many children will ask their parents and Santa Claus for a new toy, a new mobile phone or the latest, fashionable sneakers. Many, but not one boy from Kosovo and Metohija who has a completely different wish from his peers, and who asked Santa Claus for freedom of movement in the new 2025.
“Dear Santa, I have been good this year. For this year, I would like these people with guns to go away. Because of them, I don’t play with my friends,” reads the boy’s letter addressed to Santa Claus, which was posted on Instagram by the page “srbiju_upoznaj”.
As the description of the post states, the child from Kosovo and Metohija has only one wish, and that is to be able to move freely.

The users of this social network were also not indifferent to the boy’s unusual and heartbreaking wish, and supportive comments began to pour in.
