Renowned Bosnian-Herzegovinian photographer Dženad Džino has posted an emotional video titled “Let it be recorded” on his YouTube channel.

Džino has been reporting daily from the field in Jablanica after the devastating floods that hit this small town, and now he wanted to send a message of unity that has become visible after the disaster that occurred in part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Let it not be forgotten”, says Džino, alluding to the unity of Bosnian citizens in times of trouble, but also to neighbors who helped in large numbers.

Numerous rescuers from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, and Slovenia also arrived in our country, helping their colleagues from BiH.

“Dear friends, Bosnians and Herzegovinians, Serbs, Croats, Slovenians, Montenegrins… Before you start hating each other again, know that there is a small town whose great misfortune has united everything that you thought could not be united yesterday. A city that will never be the same.

A city that lost part of its soul, its youth overnight. It lost its fathers, mothers, and its children… Everything disappeared in an instant and will remain recorded forever… Let it be recorded”, wrote Džino along with the footage in which he edited clips from October 4th, the day of the floods, until today.
