Russia hopes that the protests in Serbia will be resolved based on the country’s Constitution and laws, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow observes “the readiness of the Serbian leadership for dialogue with the demonstrators.”

“We are following the situation. We are interested in the unrest calming down in accordance with the Constitution and laws of this friendly country, as Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said,” Lavrov stated.
