Qatar was targeted by two Iranian ballistic missiles, the country’s Ministry of Defense announced, as reported by the BBC.
One of the missiles was intercepted by Qatar’s air defense systems, while the other struck the Al Udeid American air base, the largest U.S. base in the region.

According to media reports, the main American radar controlling nearly all air defense systems in the Middle East was destroyed.
The largest single loss represents the AN/FPS-132 early warning system at the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, worth about $1.1 billion, which was hit by an Iranian missile, and Qatari authorities confirmed that the radar was damaged.

According to Qatari authorities, there were no fatalities or injuries.
The United States has lost military equipment worth nearly two billion dollars in Iranian attacks since Saturday, according to Anadolu’s estimates based on available data. Targets included radar systems, aircraft and bases across the Middle East, as well as certain U.S. diplomatic missions.
