Jimmy Butler is the past, and Nikola Jović is the future of the Miami Heat. The Serbian national team player once again played a very good match, with 20 points he tied his personal NBA record for the number of three-pointers made (5/7), but it was not enough to beat Chicago 124:133. The Bulls steamrolled the Heat in the final quarter, making up a 10-point deficit.
Jović scored 20 points in 36 minutes on the court (7/10 shooting, 5/7 three-pointers, 1/2 free throws), recording two rebounds, two assists, and two turnovers. He had previously scored five three-pointers in a match against the Houston Rockets and the Milwaukee Bucks last year. It’s great that coach Erik Spoelstra sees him as a scoring wing player.
Miami let a big lead slip against the Bulls in Chicago and ultimately suffered their 24th defeat of the season. Miami had everything under control until the last quarter, in which they entered with a nine-point lead.
They maintained the lead until 4:46 minutes before the end when Nikola Vučević hit a three-pointer and then assisted White for the Bulls’ first lead, which Jović, Herro, and Adebayo failed to catch up.
