The Serbian center delivered another MVP-caliber performance, pouring in 46 points to spoil Victor Wembanyama’s 21st birthday.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing, though. With the score tied at 108-108, Jokic had a chance to win it at the buzzer, but his shot rimmed out. However, in overtime, it was all Nuggets, and Jokic dominated, leading his team to a 122-111 victory. The Spurs managed only three points in the extra period.
The stat line speaks for itself: 46 points (19-of-35 shooting), 10 assists, nine rebounds, two blocks, and two steals. With this performance, Jokic tied legendary Wilt Chamberlain for the most games with 45 points and 10 assists.

But who cares about stats? Nikola certainly doesn’t.
Porter Jr. also had an excellent game for the Colorado team with 28 points and 10 rebounds, Murray finished with 13 (6 assists, 6 rebounds, 5 steals), and Westbrook played his usual solid game (9 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists).
For the losing team, the birthday boy, Wembanyama, led the way with 20 points and a whopping 23 rebounds, while veteran Harrison Barnes added 22 points.
Denver remains fourth in the West with a 20-14 record, while San Antonio is ninth with an 18-17 record.
