An easy and convincing victory for Denver on home court against Philadelphia. Jokić played what was more or less a recreational game, focusing on involving his teammates, dishing out passes left and right, and he succeeded — as in the end all Nuggets players got on the scorers list. The final margin was nearly thirty points, 124:96!
As mentioned, Jokić contributed just as much as needed in that win. In only 24 minutes on the court, he scored 8 points (shooting 4/7), recorded 14 assists and grabbed 7 rebounds.
Christian Braun benefited the most from Jokić’s passes and finished with 22 points (5 reb, 3 ast), followed by Cameron Johnson with 18, and the other Braun and Murray with 12 each.
In the struggling visiting team, only reserve Beauchamp stood above average with 16 points.
After this win, Denver sits in 5th place in the West with a 43–27 record, while Philadelphia is in the play-in zone of the Eastern Conference with 37–33.
Denver’s next game is tomorrow on the road against Memphis, and it should be another easy win against an underdog. However, caution is still needed…
