It seems that the famous actor Johnny Depp liked Serbia so much that he decided to “buy” a property in Rogača on Kosmaj mountain.
As the future neighbors of the Hollywood star told Kurir, he secretly visited the land with his associates, and will also hire people who will live there year-round and take care of everything.
Incidentally, Depp is said to have expressed a desire to settle in Serbia two years ago, so he visited our country several times without anyone knowing about it.
The actor gave all the necessary instructions for the property to look as he imagined it, and the house was supposed to be finished by the end of last year or the beginning of this year. According to the neighbors, the actor’s property will be built in 2025.
“The construction of the house on this plot begins next year. It was supposed to be finished already, but it was delayed. Only now that Depp came one or two times with his entire entourage, carefully looked at the projects, and given all the instructions, the work can begin. I didn’t see anything in the newspapers mentioning that he was in Serbia, so he was certainly in secret. There were certainly about ten people with him and several bodyguards. He walked up and down the plot, pointing with his hand. As you can see, our Novak Djokovic will almost be his first neighbor. These actors know where it’s good, what Hollywood is. This is paradise on earth,” our interlocutor told us and added:
“As I heard, the house won’t be as big as Novak’s, but it will be furnished in a world-class way. It will also have solar panels, a pool, several outbuildings, and all sorts of other things. It is said that he will also hire people who will live there year-round and take care of the property and the house. He plans to plant organic fruits and vegetables. It will be top-notch when it’s finished. I guess he’ll invite us to the housewarming party when he moves in,” our interlocutor concludes with a smile.
