“I RETURNED TO LIFE“: Dačić speaks from the hospital for the first time, the minister reveals how he feels! (VIDEO)

The First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Minister of Internal Affairs and president of the Socialist Party of Serbia Ivica Dačić spoke on Instagram for the first time since he was hospitalized on February 25 due to bilateral pneumonia. Dačić confirmed that he is recovering after a serious health condition and that he could soon be discharged from the hospital for home treatment.

Dačić wrote on Instagram that he is still in the hospital, but that he has returned to life.

“Dear friends, this is the first time I am addressing you after that terrible day of February 25. The council of doctors formed by the minister (of health Zlatibor) Lončar informed me that I should be released these days and continue treatment at home. That dark day clearly showed me what and who should be my priorities. The day when I fell asleep on my departure from life, five days without consciousness on the edge between life and death, and my awakening again on the birthday of my late father Desimir, March 2,” said Dačić.

He thanked everyone who, as he stated, was with him during his recovery.

“Thank you to everyone who believed, worried and prayed for me. May all the good return to you. Thanks to the wonderful doctors and medical staff of the Pulmonology Clinic of the University Clinical Center. Thank you to those who were with me, and thanks to those who were not, because they helped me realize that they did not even deserve my attention,” stated the president of the SPS.

He underlined that he also owes gratitude to his family, friends and institutions.

“Thanks to my brother Aleksandar Vučić, my family, friends and party comrades, state authorities, the church, everyone who prayed for the Lord to preserve and protect me,” concluded Dačić.

He also recalled a song which, as he stated, he sang with Kemal Monteno more than 15 years ago.

“More than 15 years ago Kemal Monteno and I sang his song together, which I had no idea I would live through. I have returned, life! Thanks to everyone who helped so that it would not be my fate, because there is no death without Judgment Day. Thank you all,” Dačić said.

Dačić was hospitalized on the evening of February 25 at the Pulmonology Clinic of the Clinical Center of Serbia due to severe bilateral pneumonia.
