In the village of Glavnik near Podujevo, a burned-out car with Serbian license plates was discovered, containing human bone remains, the Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina confirmed.
The Prosecutor’s Office stated that the incident occurred on Tuesday, and an inspection of the burned vehicle revealed bone remains inside.

A forensic medical expert was assigned by the prosecutor, confirming that the remains were human, and an order was given for the police to undertake all necessary investigative measures to fully clarify the case.
“Since we are in the early stages of the investigation, we cannot provide further details at this time, but the prosecutor is committed to fully clarifying the case in coordination with law enforcement agencies,” the statement from the Prosecutor’s Office added.
The chief Pristina prosecutor confirmed to Albanian-language media that the car had Serbian license plates.
“Yes, it is true. It is suspected that human bones are inside the vehicle. The car has Serbian license plates. The investigation is ongoing,” said Pristina’s chief prosecutor, Zejnulah Gashi.
He added that it is still unknown how the incident occurred.
The remains of the burned vehicle have been transported to the police station in Podujevo.
