A Serbian citizen died three days ago in a horrific traffic accident near Prague, Czech Republic, after his smaller truck crashed into a semi-trailer.
According to local media, the accident occurred on Tuesday, June 3, around 5:30 PM, on the Prague bypass towards Ruzyně near Modletice.
“The investigation so far has allegedly determined that the truck driver failed to brake in time before a queue of vehicles and crashed with full force into another, larger truck with a trailer in front of him,” local media reported, adding that the scene on the road after the accident was gruesome.
Traffic on that section was suspended for hours, affecting all three lanes.

“We were called to assist Central Bohemia firefighters at half past five due to an accident involving a truck and a semi-trailer on the Prague bypass,” Prague Fire Department spokesman Miroslav Řezač told the media.
“The truck driver evidently did not pay enough attention to the traffic situation and collided with a vehicle that had slowed down in front of him. He sustained fatal injuries,” explained Prague Police spokesman Jan Rybánský.
As can be seen in the photos published by Czech media, the red truck with Belgrade license plates was crushed in the front. Vehicle parts were scattered across the road, and the force of the impact also created glass fragments on the pavement. Furthermore, on-site pictures show a significant presence of police and emergency medical teams who, unfortunately, could not save our citizen.
The investigation into this accident is still ongoing, and the identity of the deceased Serb has not yet been released.
