A younger man, M.M. (30), threw himself today from a ninth-floor window of a building on Cvijićeva Street, after his girlfriend, M.P. (28), with whom he was in the apartment, passed away before his eyes.
According to unofficial reports, Emergency Services arrived at the Belgrade apartment only to find M.P. already deceased.
Her partner, who was present in the apartment when doctors pronounced the girl dead, jumped from the window and committed suicide. At this moment, it is not known exactly how the girl’s death occurred. However, according to unofficial information, traces of drug use were found at the scene.
The police and a prosecutor from the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade are currently on-site conducting the investigation.
