A group of 225 Russian citizens, including artists, left Iran on June 15, the Russian diplomatic mission in Tehran announced, RIA agency reports.

The statement said that among the Russian citizens who left Tehran were family members of employees of Russian diplomatic missions, as well as artists from the P. I. Tchaikovsky Grand Symphony Orchestra and other Russian citizens.

Also, on June 14, with the help of the Russian embassies in Iran and Azerbaijan, a group of 88 people, including the film crew of director and producer Fyodor Bondarchuk, also left Iran via the land border crossing with Azerbaijan.

In addition to Russian citizens, these groups also included citizens of Belarus, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, RIA reports.

It is not known how many Serbian citizens were evacuated from Iran.

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not officially commented on this matter.
