A video of a barefoot girl carrying her injured sister on her back in Gaza has gone viral around the world.

Six-year-old Kamar carried her sister for kilometers on her back after she was hit by a car in the chaos that ensued after the bombing of a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.

A journalist caught up with them on the road and gave them a ride when he also filmed the video.

Kamar and her family sleep in a camp without a blanket.

They were displaced from northern Gaza, along with at least 1.9 million other people.
