In an orchestrated attack by the USA and Israel, innocent girls from Iran also perished, including as many as 20 volleyball players.
First, the Iranian TV channel “Al Mayadeen” reported that 20 volleyball players had died, and this was later confirmed to others as well. Allegedly, there are more than 100 injured.
There was long speculation about whether this was true, but then the International Volleyball Federation decided to speak out and express its condolences.
“Twenty volleyball players died as a result of Israeli aggression aimed at a sports hall in the city of Lamerd, in the Fars province,” stated the mentioned television station.
It cited data from local authorities, while earlier during the day Israel carried out an attack on a sports hall in the city of Lamerd in southern Iran, in which initially more than 15 people died, and among the victims are children who were in the hall at that moment.
