Serbian sailors won three medals at the 35th Balkan Championship, which was held in three categories and classes in Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast.

The Serbian national team in Nesebar counted a total of 20 competitors in the senior, junior, and children’s categories up to 15 years old.

In the ILCA 6 class, in the senior competition, Andrej Bozoki won the silver medal, while Nenad Zakić took the bronze. In the junior category, in the ILCA 4 class, the bronze medal went to Jovana Stepanović.

Sailing took place for three days, two days in a moderate north-easterly wind with larger wave surges and the last day with a gentle westerly wind without large waves. Three to four races were successfully realized depending on the classes, and it is interesting to note that this was the first sailing Balkan Championship after a several-year break that followed the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
