American-Serbian actor Željko Džek Dimić has recently begun filming the high-budget Hollywood TV series “Lioness,” in which he will star alongside two Oscar winners, actresses Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldana.
He is currently on the set of the series in Texas, where the photo with the mentioned Zoe Saldana originates.
-Due to the contract I have, I cannot talk much about the series, but I can say that I had great communication with these two actresses, especially with Zoe Saldana, with whom I act in two scenes, as the main villain in the first two episodes, Dimić tells Serbian Times.
This is his 98th role in film and television since he graduated from the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, where he also lives.
-This is another role in which I play a “pure American,” which means a lot to me because I spent years perfecting my English language in addition to my acting skills. I am proud that today I am not typecast for the roles of immigrants from Eastern Europe and the Balkans, although I am proud of my origin, he points out.
