In Denver, they are waiting with great anticipation for the return of Nikola Jokić and are already slowly counting down the days until his return to the hardwood.
As “The Athletic” reports, the three-time NBA MVP could, in the worst-case scenario, return by mid-February, specifically by the break for the All-Star weekend.
“Good news is arriving from Denver, where optimism prevails when it comes to Jokić’s recovery. Nikola attended the game against Brooklyn on Sunday night and stayed in the team’s locker room, and his mood seemed very good,” wrote Tony Jones for the mentioned paper.
As a reminder, Nikola Jokić was injured at the end of last year during the game against Miami, when he suffered a hyperextension of the knee.
