The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong warning to Pristina over the terror inflicted on Serbs, marking a new diplomatic victory for Belgrade.
Specifically, France has sharply reacted to what is described in the official statement as the “unilateral closure of Serbian administrative structures on January 15, 2025.”
“France regrets the unilateral closure of a large number of Serbian administrative structures in Kosovo by the Kosovo Government on January 15, a decision that will negatively impact the daily lives of the Serbian population in Kosovo,” the statement reads.
The statement emphasizes that this decision endangers efforts to normalize relations between Belgrade and Pristina within the framework of the EU-mediated Dialogue.

“This unilateral action jeopardizes the prospects for lifting restrictive measures against Kosovo. France calls for respect for the commitments undertaken by the parties to advance the implementation of the Brussels-Ohrid Agreement,” the statement concludes.
It is worth noting that the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija spoke from Brussels on January 15 regarding the unprecedented terror and institutional violence of Pristina and Albin Kurti against Serbs, as well as the closure of numerous Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija.
“We will use today to speak with other officials and explain the scale of Kurti’s terror in Kosovo and Metohija,” Petković stated at the time.
