The leader of the Association of Indigenous Residents of Kraljevo, Ivan Matović, said in a post on Facebook that searches of the apartments of war military veterans who participated in student protests are currently underway in Kraljevo. As N1 unofficially learns, the police detained four individuals on that occasion.
“I have just been informed that house searches of war veterans are underway at multiple locations in Kraljevo. From what I have learned, these are veterans of the 63rd Parachute Brigade who actively participate in all student protests. I know of four or five people whose apartments are currently being searched, and unofficially we learn that one of them has already been taken to the police station,” Matović stated in the post.
According to him, the previous night in Mrčajevci, Marko Kričak, the new head of the Criminal Police Directorate, was seen.
“Last night at some point, through Mrčajevci, with several jeeps and some Audis with flashing lights, Kričak also passed by. He was seen by farmers who let him pass, so it was clear that something like this would happen precisely in Kraljevo, as a city which, I can freely say, offers the greatest resistance in the fight against this regime.”
N1 unofficially learns that four war veterans were detained by order of the Higher Court, in connection with Article 348, Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code – illegal production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.
