Today marks five years since the death of Džej Ramadanovski, the legendary singer who forever left his mark on music and the hearts of the public.
Džej’s daughter, Marija Ramadanovski, will visit her father’s final resting place with family members and commemorate him.
She spoke proudly about her father to the local media.
“My father should be remembered, but we shouldn’t overdo it either. We all miss him. Five years have passed quickly. He would be proud to see us. He would be satisfied concerning me and my sister, his grandsons and granddaughter. He was a special man. He remained in my memory through his dancing, his laughter. All of that is missing, his voice, his jokes. That’s how I will always remember him. In the immediate circle, the people who were always with him are there. A massive number of people and the audience and everyone who loved him have only words of praise. It fills my heart that people remember him. I have never heard anyone say one bad word about him. We are truly proud of him and sad that he is gone, but we love him forever,” she emphasized.
Džej was a singer who knew how to convey emotion. Although life was not easy for him, he emerged stronger from every struggle. Singer Mina Kostić, who greatly valued and respected him, agreed with this:
“He was like a brother to me. Dorćol is not the same without him. I remember every word, every conversation we had, every piece of advice, laughter, performance. He was unique. Honest and good, a kind of man rarely encountered. To have such an artist, voice, and friend was an honor and a pleasure. I will always mention his name with great pride and sing his songs,” Mina told Kurir.
