FIERCE RUSSIAN STRIKE ON KYIV: The capital in flames, air defense powerless against ballistic missiles! (VIDEO)

During the attack, loud explosions were heard in different parts of Kyiv, Ukrinform reported.

“Air defense is operating in the capital. The enemy is attacking the city with missiles,” said the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, urging citizens to remain in shelters while the air raid alert is in effect.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that the city is under a “ballistic attack” and stated that fires broke out in several districts.

According to Klitschko, eight civilians were injured, three of whom were hospitalized.

In the Dnipro district, a kindergarten was damaged, and several residential buildings sustained damage, including shattered windows and damaged vehicles.

Authorities reported that a crater was created by a missile strike in the courtyard of one building.

Fires were reported in the Darnytskyi and Desnianskyi districts, where several non-residential buildings and vehicles are burning.

Firefighting and emergency services are on the scene, working to extinguish the fires and assist the injured.
