The team from Serbian Times managed to get within three kilometers down the Guadalupe River from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp for girls where 27 children and counselors perished.

More than 110 people have died so far in the catastrophic floods in central Texas, officials announced.

Police and helicopters blocked closer access to the location, but our editor, Antonije Kovačević, managed to capture scenes of destruction and speak with rescuers, survivors, and those who lost their homes or loved ones.

The search for the missing continues, and in addition to authorities, local residents, primarily cowboys, are participating in the efforts.

While the consequences of the floods on human lives and property are still being assessed, many are asking questions about existing warning systems and whether additional preparations could have saved lives.
