“I thought it would be easy to end the war in Ukraine”

Speaking about the situation in the Gaza Strip, he emphasized that it is necessary for the militant group Hamas to immediately release all Israeli hostages.

-Not two or four, but all hostages, all 20. Hamas has repeatedly rejected reasonable offers for peace. Now it seems to be encouraging the continuation of the conflict. We must stop the war in Gaza, we must negotiate for peace – he emphasized.

He also referred to the war in Ukraine. According to him, he thought it would be “easy to end that war.” Trump said that, in case Russia does not agree to an agreement to end the war, America is ready to impose very strong sanctions.

He repeated the request to NATO countries to stop buying oil from Russia.

-They can’t do what they are doing. They buy oil and gas from Russia while fighting against Russia. They are a disgrace – the American president pointed out.

He accused India and China of being the “main financiers” of the war by buying Russian oil.

She said earlier, the White House spokeswoman, it is planned that Trump will also participate in a multilateral meeting with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan.

The UN General Assembly, the 80th in a row, which will gather leaders from all over the world – 150 heads of state and government from all over the world, is being held at a time of increased tensions with the United States with allies over the recognition of Palestinian statehood and the imposition of tariffs.
