ECOLOGICAL CATASTROPHE IN IVANJICA: Huge illegal landfill at the entrance to the city, in the middle of an air spa and UNESCO reserve! (VIDEO)

At the entrance to Ivanjica, in the local community of Prilike, a worrying sight was recorded – a huge illegal landfill that threatens the natural environment and the health of citizens.

One of the residents, Vojo Tošović, whose family and children live in the immediate vicinity of this ecological catastrophe, recorded a video in which he shows the extent of the wild landfill in detail. “This is not a landfill in some African country or in the West, but in our beautiful Ivanjica…”, Tošović points out, while the camera passes by piles of garbage scattered along the bed of the Moravica river.

Otherwise, Ivanjica was officially declared an air spa and was the first in Serbia to carry that title in 2000, and the nearby mountain Golija is a biosphere reserve declared by UNESCO, which further emphasizes the seriousness of the ecological problem.

In the video, Tošović called on all local officials, but also the state, to react urgently and remove the garbage before even greater consequences occur.
