The Serbian national basketball team will play the first phase of the World Cup qualifiers in Group C.

Serbia’s rivals will be the national teams of Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a qualifier from the pre-qualifiers.

Then, the top three from the group cross with the top three from Group D, which includes Lithuania, Italy, Great Britain, and Iceland.

Three of the six teams will qualify for the World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in 2027.

In the European qualifiers, 32 national teams will compete in six FIBA windows, and in the end, 12 teams will secure a place at the world championship.
