Novak Đoković, the best Serbian tennis player, was scheduled to play his Miami Masters quarterfinal match against Sebastian Korda after midnight on Thursday. However, the match was canceled due to the late hour, as the two players agreed not to play.

The duel between Novak Đoković and Sebastian Korda was planned as the second match of the evening session on the Central Court. However, it was canceled after the two players agreed not to wait and play, as the organizers scheduled five matches on the same court. Jessica Pegula and Emma Raducanu only finished their match around 11:20 PM local time.

Novak and Sebastian will now face each other on Thursday at 5 PM local time, which is around 10 PM in Serbia.

Meanwhile, the top seed of the Miami tournament, Alexander Zverev, has been eliminated after losing 2-1 in sets to French player Arthur Fils. This means that perhaps the biggest threat on Novak’s path to his 100th ATP title is now out of the tournament.
