The leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), Milorad Dodik, stated that Croatia is increasingly abusing border control mechanisms and mistreating citizens of the Republika Srpska (RS), emphasizing that if such a practice continues, he will demand the introduction of reciprocal measures.
“Croatia is increasingly abusing border control mechanisms and more frequently mistreating the citizens of the Republika Srpska. I most strongly condemn such behavior,” Dodik wrote on the social network X, regarding the detention and custody of the Mayor of Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković (PDP), at the Gradiška border crossing between Croatia and BiH.
He added that he will not allow people from the Republika Srpska to be victims.
“I will not allow people from the Republika Srpska to be victims of political and ideological struggles within Croatia. If this practice continues, I will demand the introduction of reciprocal measures,” Dodik pointed out.
