A photograph of Novak Đoković has been declared the photo of the year. An image from last year’s Wimbledon, capturing Novak moving across the court at the very moment a beam of sunlight touches him, was chosen as the best of 2024 by photographers in the United Kingdom.

The author of the photo is Chloe Knott, who works for Imago.

Đoković reached the final at last year’s Wimbledon, where he was stopped by Carlos Alcaraz. He achieved this after undergoing knee surgery due to an injury sustained at Roland Garros. He managed to recover in time, play on the London grass, and reach the battle for the trophy. Shortly after, he went on to win the Olympic Games in Paris and proved to everyone who the greatest in history is.

In the current season, Đoković is on the path to claim his 100th career title. He lost the Miami final to Jakub Menšik and will try to win the historic title at the upcoming Masters in Monte Carlo.
