The Colorado team confirmed that Payton Watson suffered a hamstring strain.
More troubles for the Denver Nuggets! The Colorado team has been unlucky with injuries this season, as the club confirmed that Payton Watson will miss at least four weeks due to a hamstring strain.
“Watson suffered a hamstring strain and will undergo a follow-up evaluation in four weeks,” the Nuggets stated.
This means another four weeks of hardship for Nikola Jokić and his teammates, as the Nuggets will again be incomplete.
The problems started with injuries to Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun, then Nikola Jokić and Jonas Valančiūnas were sidelined, and now Watson is also out—creating a significant impact on the team’s performance.
During Jokić’s absence, Watson averaged 21.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game, making it clear that Denver will face a major challenge.
