Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić stated that 77 people were apprehended last night after the protest, and 38 of them were detained.

Among those apprehended is one minor. Criminal charges will be filed against 35 individuals, and a request for misdemeanor proceedings will be filed against 26 individuals.

During the re-establishment of disturbed public order and peace, 48 police officers were injured, Dačić said at a press conference.

According to him, 38 members of the gendarmerie, two members of the police brigade, seven from the intervention unit, and one police officer from operational security were injured.

One police officer, he says, sustained serious bodily injuries – head injuries, most likely from a stone.

A large part of the protective equipment was destroyed or damaged, Dačić emphasized at a joint press conference with Aleksandar Vučić.
