Bogdan Bogdanović and the Atlanta Hawks have recorded their fifth consecutive victory in the NBA, defeating the Milwaukee Bucks on the road. The Serbian national team player said after the game for RTS that the Hawks have found a winning rhythm in this part of the season. He announced a gathering with Nikola Jokić for New Year’s Eve.
The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 119:104 in the NBA, with a significant contribution from Bogdan Bogdanović.
The Serbian national team player spent 26 minutes on the court, during which he recorded 15 points, five assists, five steals, and two rebounds.
In the locker room after the game, Bogdanović told RTS that the game was quite demanding, although it might have seemed easy.
“They are physically and athletically very strong. It’s hard to build against them, but we are faster and we used that. We also hit some threes, a good win for us,” Bogdanović emphasized.
He stressed that the Hawks played good defense and tired out the opponent with fast-paced transition play.
The high-scoring Atlanta team recorded their fifth consecutive triumph in Milwaukee in the NBA and ended the Bucks’ seven-game winning streak.
“In the NBA, it’s all about rhythm. All teams are chasing that rhythm, to find a good part of the season when they string together wins. I think we’ve found that rhythm right now, and I hope we stay in that winning rhythm,” said Bogdanović.
In less than 24 hours, Atlanta will play against the Lakers, and on Sunday, the opponent will be the Denver Nuggets led by Nikola Jokić.
“Two very tough games. It’s always nice to play against Jokić. I’m glad we’ll see each other and hang out, and we’ll also celebrate the New Year together. We’re visiting them for New Year’s Eve,” announced Bogdanović.
