Zagreb police announced today that after completing the investigation, a 20-year-old man from the city and a minor were identified who committed robbery against a 25-year-old foreign worker, whom they beat and tried to rob.

According to the police report, the incident occurred on the evening of November 13, when the suspects ordered a food delivery service through an app, and then waited and beat the delivery person, trying to rob him, as reported by Index.hr.
The injured food delivery person, according to the gathered information, arrived with the order around 10 pm at the requested location, where he was met by the suspects in a dark part of the park.
As stated, the delivery person, noticing that he was in a dark location, called for the suspects to approach the pedestrian crossing to pick up the order, and after they approached him, the 20-year-old hit him in the back and tried to snatch the bag with food.
He was unsuccessful in this attempt, but together with the minor, he continued the physical attack on the delivery person.
During the attack, the minor tried to snatch the bag with money from the foreign worker, and after failing in that as well, both attackers fled the scene.
