Firefighters-rescuers are working on extracting a car that drove off the road and fell into the river at Ada Huja near a well-known restaurant today around 3 PM, Telegraf.rs learns.
According to the first information obtained by Telegraf.rs, at the moment of the accident, only the driver was in the car and managed to get out of the vehicle on his own.
-The driver, as he stated, was alone in the vehicle and successfully exited it while it was filling with water – a source close to the investigation told Telegraf.rs.
Twelve firefighters-rescuers as well as the river police arrived at the scene, and the man who was involved in the traffic accident, fortunately, was not injured.
The traffic accident occurred near a restaurant on Ada Huja, at the same spot where three young people died 10 years ago when they drove into the Danube in a car, and during the past years, other traffic accidents occurred at the same place but without fatal outcomes.
