Partizan Basketball Club has reached an agreement with American playmaker Cameron Payne, and now details have emerged about how much the man who played 86 games for the New York Knicks will earn.
Cameron Payne is arriving at Partizan. This is now, practically, a done deal, and according to posts on social media, the contract has already been signed.
Sports director Žarko Paspalj already spoke publicly about Payne on Monday, and now the negotiations are over, so the former Knicks member will become the new playmaker for Partizan.
Details of the contract that Payne will sign have also emerged. He will be part of Partizan until the end of the season, and he will receive as much as 950,000 euros in salary, which means he will pocket almost a million in just six months.
Cameron Payne is an experienced player with a rich NBA career, during which he played for Chicago, Cleveland, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and New York.
In his best seasons, he averaged over 10 points and almost 5 assists per game. In the last season, his numbers averaged 6.9 points and 2.8 assists.
