BRAVO, MILICA! Daughter of Serbian consul wins gold and silver medals in athletics at a prestigious competition in Chicago! (VIDEO)

Young Serbian girl Milica Nikolić (9) won a gold medal in the high jump and a silver medal in the long jump at the prestigious Gately Park Open in Chicago.

The competition was held on Saturday, December 6th, and Milica fought for the brilliant medals against the highest quality athletes in her age group.

She started practicing athletics at the age of 7 at the “Mladost” Athletics Club in Zemun, where she was born, and she won medals in numerous competitions in Serbia.

Milica is the daughter of the Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Chicago, Marko Nikolić, and his wife Jelena, and has been staying in Chicago for several months, where her father is serving his mandate.
